Consejo de Lideres
Para comenzar el mes de Marzo, Presidente Santos realizó un consejo con los lideres de la misión. Esa consejo comenzó con el rendimiento de cuentas de los lideres. Hablaron sobre sus logros y desafíos que han teniendo en el mes de Febrero. Pienso que la reunión realmente se convirtió a un consejo cuando los asistentes preguntaron, "¿ Que vamos hacer en marzo para mejorar?". Esa pregunta simple abrió las puertas de la revelación al consejo, donde todos pudieron compartir sus opiniones. Después, los lideres empezaron con sus capacitaciones. El enfoque en el consejo fue de trabajar con los lideres del barrio y estaca. También, el escuchar al compañero menor y como los lideres deben dar el ejemplo a los demás. Algo que me gusto mucho de una capacitación fue cuando utilizaron la historia del hermano de Jared (Éter, Libro de Mormón) para explicar la manera en que debemos trabajar. Tenemos que depender del Señor pero el Señor usará nuestras propias habilidades para hacer su obra. El Elder Gomez dijo de ese consejo, " En el consejo se sentía mucho el espíritu por los comentarios de los lideres de zona. Ellos dan buenas ideas para nuestro propio sector y animar a los otros en la zona."
Tuvimos la oportunidad de tener al Presidente Correa, quien es Presidente de la Estaca Salado, en el consejo. El nos habló en cuanto a como podemos trabajar con los miembros en una manera eficaz. El contestó a las preguntas y dudas de los misioneros. Recibí mucha ayuda porque a veces no sabemos como se sienten los miembros, pero el Presidente Correa abrió mis ojos a ese asunto.
Leadership Council
To start the month of March off, President Santos held a council with the leaders of the mission. This council started off with the leaders giving their reports. They talked about the achievements and challenges that they faced in Febuary. I thnik that the meeting truly converted into a council when the assistants asked, "What are we going to do to improve in March?". That simple question opened the doors of revelation in the council, because everyone was able to express their opinions. After, the leaders began to train with the focus on how to work with the ward leaders. As well, they focused in on listening to the junior companion and that as leader they must give the example. Something that I really enjoyed was when they applied the story of the brother of Jared (Ether, Book of Mormon) to explain in what way we must work. We have to depend on the Lord, but the Lord will use our abilities to carry out his work. Elder Gomez said of this consejo, " In the council you could feel really feel the spirit because of the commentaries of the zone leaders. They gave good ideas for our sector and to help the others in the zone."
We had the oportunity to have President Correa, who is Stake President of the Salado Stake, in the council. He talked about how we can work effectively with the members. He answered the questions and doubts of the missionaries. I recieved guidance because sometimes we dont know how the members feel, but President Correa opened my eyes to that.
