Conferencia de Zona

                      El día 21 de abril, fuimos a la Zona Daule. Allá escuchamos al Presidente capacitando sobre cómo pedir referencias. Nosotros tenemos que pedir referencias a todas las personas. No solamente a los que son miembros pero a los que no son también. Todos conocen a alguien que necesita una visita o una ayuda y Nosotros como misioneros somos los mejores que pueden dar esa ayuda. Si hacemos eso, vamos a poder encontrar y ayudar a muchas más personas. Después, El Presidente explicó la importancia del estudio personal y dijo que tenemos que estudiar para que podamos enseñar la palabra de Dios.

Zone Conference

            On April 21, we went to the Zona Daule. There we heard The President training on how to ask for referrals. We have to ask for references from everyone. Not only those who are members but those who are not too. Everyone knows someone who needs a visit or help and we as missionaries are the best that can give that help. If we do that, we will be able to find and help many more people. Afterwards, the President explained the importance of personal study and said that we have to study so we can teach the word of God.

Conferencia a La Zona Bahía de Caraquez

                      El día 20 de abril, viajamos a la Zona que esta mas lejos en toda la misión, La Zona Bahía de Caraquez. Allá aprendimos sobre el arrepentimiento y cómo funciona en la obra misional. El arrepentimiento es la tristeza según Dios. Muchas veces sentimos tristeza según el mundo, pero tristeza según Dios es cuando realmente nos sentimos mal y queremos dejar el pecado para siempre. El arrepentimiento es un cambio en nuestro corazón. La Tristeza según el mundo es cuando sentimos mal sobre un decisión o acción pero no cambiamos o si cambiamos pero no para siempre. Para ayudar a nuestros investigadores, aprendimos que tenemos que usar las escrituras por que son la palabras de Dios para sus hijos. Las escrituras les ayuda a nuestros investigadores a comprender la razón por la que tenemos que arrepentirnos y cómo podemos hacerlo. Esta Conferencia me ayudó a saber cómo yo puedo ayudar a mis investigadores a comprender la importancia de el arrepentimiento. 

Zone Conference

                       On April 20, we traveled to the Zone that is the farthest away in all of the mission mission, the Zone Bahía de Caraquez. There we learned about repentance and how it works in mission work. Repentance is sorrow according to God. Many times we feel Worldly Sorrow but Godly Sorrow is when we really feel bad and we want to leave the sin forever. Repentance is a change in our heart. Worldly Sorrow is when we feel bad about a decision or action but we do not change or we change but not forever. To help our investigators, we learned that we have to use the scriptures because they are the words of God for their children. Scripture helps our investigators understand why we have to repent and how we can repent. This conference helped me know how I can help my investigators understand the importance of repentance.

Conferencia de la Zona Portoviejo

Conferencia de Zona

                           El día 19 de abril viajamos a la Zona Portoviejo. En la conferencia aprendimos en cuanto a la importancia de la enseñanza. Hicimos una práctica según la historia del bueno samaritano. En la práctica, enseñamos a una persona que estaba recostada en el suelo por causa de dificultades y aflicciones. Cuando la persona siente el amor de Cristo, esa persona empieza a pararse y a moverse hasta que llega al púlpito. Esa práctica nos ayudó a enfocarnos en amar a nuestros investigadores y ayudarles en sus necesidades para que llegan más cerca a Dios. La conferencia me hizo pensar sobre mis enseñanzas y cómo yo puedo ayudar mis investigadores a sentir el amor de Cristo. 

Zone Conference

                              On April 19 we traveled to the Zona Portoviejo. At the conference, we learned about the importance of teaching. We did a practice according to the history of the Good Samaritan. In practice, we taught a person who lay on the ground because of difficulties and afflictions. When the person feels the love of Christ, that person begins to stand and move until he reaches the pulpit. This practice helped us focus on loving our investigators and helping them in their needs so that they get closer to God. The conference made me think about the way I teach and how I can help my investigators feel the love of Christ.
