La Luz de Las Naciones
El Sábado 17 de Diciembre, las tres misiones de Guayaquil se juntaron para realizar el show ¨Luz de Las Naciones¨ en la concha acústica del Parque Samanes. Hemos planeado y ensayado con las otras misiones en preparación para el evento. También, hubo pesebres en vivo con misioneros disfrazados como miembros de la natividad. Los pesebres tomaron fotos gratis a las personas y compartieron el mensaje de nacimiento de Nuestro Salvador Jesucristo. Habían grupos de villancicos de misioneros cantando en armonía con el preludio del evento en diferentes partes del Parque para que todos pudieran escuchar la música navideña. El evento consistió de actuaciones de miembros de los Estacas localizado cerca del Parque Samanes. Nuestra misión junto con la Misión Ecuador Guayaquil Sur hicimos una presentación de una familia aprendiendo sobre la importancia de la verdadera Navidad. Después la Misión Ecuador Guayaquil Norte tuvo un tiempo para su presentación de Nefi mirando a Maria y el Niño Jesús. Muchas personas asistieron al evento, incluso el Elder Hugo Montoya. También, los tres Presidentes de Misión asistieron y compartieron sus sentimientos.
Light of the Nations
The 17th of December, the three missions of Guayaquil joined together to participate in the show ¨Luz de Las Naciones¨ which was held in the Acoustic Concha in the Park Samanes. We have been planning and rehearsing with the other missions in preparation for the event. There were also live nativity scenes made up of missionaries dressed as the members of the nativity. They took free pictures with the people and shared the message of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. As well, there were groups of missionary christmas carolers singing in harmony with the prelude of the event so that everyone could hear the christmas music. The event consisted of plays from Stake members in the area. Our mission, along with the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission, did a presentation of a family learning the true importance of Christmas. The Ecuador Guayaquil North Mission had a time in which they did a presentation of Nephi seeing the virgin Mary and the baby Jesus. A lot of people attended the event, including Elder Hugo Montoya. As well, the three Mission Presidents attended and shared their feelings with the crowd.
