Conferencia de Zona: Libertad
El 7 de Marzo 2018, llevamos a cabo la Conferencia de la Zona Libertad. Por este conferencia enfocamos en saber nuestro papel en ayudar los investigadores sentir una respuesta del Espíritu Santo, y tener un firme testimonio de la iglesia. Escuchamos a muchos misioneros y nuestros asistentes pero una tema subyacente era que necesitamos construir un base muy seguro en nuestros testimonios. Hicimos un ejemplo con apilamiento de vasos, si no hay un base firme, se cae fácilmente. Es lo mismo con un testimonio; si tenemos un firme testimonio en los principios básicos como la oración, leer las escrituras y asistir a la iglesia, vamos a crecer en nuestra fe. Pero si no hay este testimonio, nos distraeremos fácilmente y cualquier cosa nos puede alejar de la cosas importantes en la iglesia. Presidente Santos también nos enseñó mucho sobre la importancia del Libro de Mormón en la conversión y como debemos utilizarlo para compartir nuestro mensaje con todos. En el fin de la conferencia, muchos compartieron sus testimonios y pudimos ver que es una zona muy fortalecido en su fe.
Libertad´s Zone Conference
On March 7, 2018, we held a Zone Conference en Libertad. For this conference, we focused on knowing our role in helping investigators receive an answer from the Holy Ghost, and have a strong testimony of the church. We listened to many missionaries and our assistants but an underlying theme in the messages was that we need to build a secure foundation in our testimonies. We made an example with cup stacking, showing that if there is not a firm foundation, it can easily fall down. It is the same with a testimony; if we have a firm testimony in basic principles like prayer, reading the scriptures and attending church, we will grow in our faith. But if we don´t have this testimony, we will be easily distracted and anything can take us away from the important things in the church; we will fall. President Santos also taught us the importance of the Book of Mormon in conversion and how we should use it to share our message with everyone. At the end of the conference, many of the misionaries shared their testimony y we were able to see that the zone is very strong in their faith.
